The Alumni of Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron is a registered body of ex-cadets of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron. Its members are professionals in various fields of the Maritime industry. Over the years, the association through its members has made significant contributions to the development of policies for different maritime stakeholders’ fora, both locally and internationally. AMANO has close to 1000 members as of today. The organizational structure strategically stems from the Board of Trustees to the National Executive Council and then the Chapters to expand its impact on its members, the industry, and the nation at large.

Our Mission Statement
As an active stakeholder in· the maritime industry, the Alumni proactively seek to foster a bi-partisan relationship between the Academia and practitioners in the maritime industry and encourage intellectual and emotional ties between members and the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron and other maritime institutions.
Members of the Alumni are presently experts in diverse sectors of the maritime and related industry, including Oil & Gas, Shipping, Transportation, Nuclear Power, Engineering, Freight forwarding, Port management, Information Technology, Oil spills, Classification Societies, Navigation, Maritime Law, Company founders and CEO’s, Energy and Utilities in various parts of the world. These individuals are excellent ambassadors of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron.
